Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

WMI CPD Series

We believe in lifelong learning and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Series is carefully curated to provide a comprehensive and diverse range of topics which cover relevant areas within wealth management.

As in all our programmes, the CPD Series will be delivered by WMI’s world class faculty of distinguished leaders, senior practitioners, leading academics and subject matter experts from various financial, academic and professional institutions. Beyond learning new knowledge and skills, you will benefit from fresh perspectives from our world class faculty.

Each session has been approved under the IBF-FTS scheme which allows for funding for eligible persons.

CACS CPD

As provided under the Private Banking Code of Conduct, all Covered Persons are expected to achieve a minimum of 15 CPD hours in each calendar year. Out of the total number of CPD training hours, Covered Persons are required to undergo at least 4 hours of training in Rules and Regulations, Compliance or Ethics.​


FA CPD

With effect from 1 Jan 2016, appointed representatives of a licensed Financial Advisers and exempt Financial Advisers engaged in the provision of Financial Advisory services need to undergo at least 30 hours of structured CPD training on an annual basis. Out of the total number of CPD training hours, FA representatives are required to undergo at least 4 hours of training in Ethics and 8 hours of training in Rules and Regulations.
