Mr Boris Collardi

Boris Collardi is Chief Executive Officer of exchange-listed private banking group Julius Baer (BAER.S), with headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, and more than 50 offices around the globe. Mandated to further expand the Group’s international standing and reputation, he has skilfully orchestrated a series of landmark acquisitions and fostered significant organic growth since taking office in 2009, thus adding CHF 200 billion to the Group’s assets under management (H1 2017: CHF 355 billion) and making Julius Baer the international reference in private banking. Boris Collardi’s passion for pure private banking is evident in Julius Baer’s client-centric organisation, driven by service excellence and experienced employees who value Julius Baer as an employer of choice. His leadership principles are summarised in his book Private Banking – Building a Culture of Excellence published in 2012 by John Wiley & Sons.

As one of the leading personalities of the Swiss financial industry, Boris Collardi presides the Association of Swiss Asset and Wealth Management Banks, is member of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Bankers Association, member of the Foundation Board of the Swiss Finance Institute and member of the Foundation Board of IMD, Lausanne. Other interests include member of the Foundation Board of Fondation du Festival et Académie de Verbier, member of the Advisory Board of the The Wealth Management Institute (WMI), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, initial councillor, Masayoshi Son Foundation for Scholarship, Tokyo, member of the Honorary Board, INTERPOL Foundation for a Safer World, Geneva, and member of the Strategic Advisory Board, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne EPFL.
